Leading a 50 person design organization responsible for all of R&D product design, design systems, accessibility, and user research. Reporting to the CPO, and peer to the SVP of engineering and SVP of product management.

Building and maturing HashiCorp’s design culture to increase design leverage in the organization.

Sr Director - Design - Platform

March 2020-Feb 2024

Head of design for the platform business unit. Responsible for the design of patterns and systems that span the product portfolio. Led 3 teams focused on the HashiCorp cloud platform, billing, ID, design systems, docs, learn, support experiences and more.

Built a diverse, globally distributed team of designers, engineers, researchers, managers, and directors. Established a healthy design culture with strong cross-functional partnerships at every level of the organization.

Led several platforms from inception to GA including a learning platform, cloud platform, and design system. Set design strategy and benchmarks, to elevate the role of design and drive business impact. Created a framework for other design orgs.

Launched a user research function that brought continual insights into the initial design of the HashiCorp Cloud Platform.
